Sign the Appeal! For the right to work for caregivers of people with disabilities!

Every person has the right to work. Unfortunately, in Poland thousands of people are deprived of this basic human right. According to the latest figures, there are 191,000 caregivers of disabled people in Poland who receive nursing benefits. They are not entitled to make up even a zloty. Otherwise, the benefit is taken away from them. They can't even be volunteers! Because then, too, they may be in danger of having their benefit revoked. This situation pushes thousands of caregivers into total dependence on the state, on husbands (most often), partners. Thousands of women, mostly mothers, because they are the ones who most often take care of disabled children, often on their own, are pushed outside of the social nucleus. Unable to work, they have no contact with people unrelated to child care, they lose their professional competence - sometimes forever, and their right to a decent pension. This has to change! We appeal!

For the right to work for caregivers of people with disabilities!
For the right to work without restrictions, without bureaucratic barriers!
For the right to all life, for the right to dignity!
