Run and support people with autism

Registration for the 2020 Rossmann Run on Piotrkowska Street has begun, and this year participants will be able to support the JiM Foundation and donate to people with autism.

The 18th edition of the Rossmann Run along Piotrkowska Street will start on May 16 at 7 p.m . For many runners, it is a must in their sports calendar. In terms of turnout in the classification of street runs at a distance of 10 kilometers, the Rossmann Run is already ranked sixth in the country. However, it is not only the sports aspects that distinguish the event. It is also guided by the idea of helping. This year, participants will be able to support the JiM Foundation and make additional contributions to it during registration. There will also be gadgets prepared for the runners, and the proceeds from their sale will be donated to help people with autism. Their purchase will be possible when collecting the starting packages.

The youngest will run for people on the spectrum

8 days later, on May 24, the youngest will run. Registration for the Mini Run, or Rossmann Run for Children, will begin in early March. As young as three years old can take part in the competition. All proceeds from enrollment in the Mini Run will be donated for the JiM Foundation.

Once again, Rossmann drugstores became the title sponsor of the event. - On the occasion of our various initiatives, including the Piotrkowska Street Run, we donate funds to social organizations. This year we want to support the JiM Foundation, which works for the benefit of children with autism," said Marek Maruszak, Rossmann CEO, at a press conference.

The run will be an excellent opportunity to raise awareness of autism among participants and supporters. To this end, we have planned a number of attractions to learn about aspects of the spectrum, including a sensory room and VR goggles that allow you to see the world from the perspective of a person with autism.

- We are very pleased that the organizers of the Rossmann Run on Piotrkowska Street and Rossmann this year decided to support the activities of the JiM Foundation. Our mission is to create a better world for people with autism, where every person on the spectrum can realize his or her potential," says JiM Foundation President Tomasz Michalowicz. - Thanks to such initiatives, we can even more effectively achieve this goal and build awareness of autism. We cordially invite you to participate in this celebration of sports in Lodz and support people on the spectrum.

Sign up for the 2020 Rossmann Run on Piotrkowska Street. Until January 16, the cost of registration is PLN 40.
