I had been planning to join some kind of volunteer work for a long time. I have always been a person who likes to help others. I learned about the JiM Foundation from a friend who was going to help in it. Why not, I thought. Here I met people who infect others with their good energy and motivate them to act for a good and noble cause.

The Percent for Lodz campaign and the picnic held on the Foundation's grounds confirmed my conviction that this was one of the better decisions made. It showed me how much joy one can give to another person, if only by one's attention to them. From this place I would like to encourage others to such an initiative. It is worth helping, because by doing so we can make someone's life better.
