Parents from the JiM Foundation and its president met with Hanna Zdanowska, Mayor of Lodz. They handed her the "Children need JiM" petition and received assurances of an objective explanation of the educational subsidy issue.

More than 5,000 (five thousand) people signed our petition to the Mayor of Lodz entitled "Children need JiM". In it, we appealed for an objective explanation of the educational subsidy for JiM schools. After a year-long audit, officials from the City of Lodz's Education Department questioned the Foundation's spending of PLN 1.5 million. 

Today we met with the President. The meeting was attended by: Sylwia Mądra, Jasio's mom, Mariola Wojda, Filip's mom, and Tomasz Michałowicz, president of the Foundation.

The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere. We handed Mrs. Mayor a petition declaring that we also love Lodz and want to be proud to live in it. JiM parents once again stated that JiM facilities are the best place for their children, that they can't imagine their children's therapy and education without them.

Mrs. President assured that she appreciates the achievements of the Foundation and that the matter of the educational subsidy given to institutions run before the Foundation is being clarified objectively. She also noted that the administrative proceedings initiated after the Foundation's appeal have not yet ended, and it is impossible to judge what the final decision will be.
