It was really happening!

The Poland in Blue campaign is coming to an end. This year we said that Autism is enough to understand. And we succeeded! Thanks to increased work, the commitment of many people and the help of companies and institutions, we reached almost 7 million people!

Starting the Poland in Blue campaign, we have one goal every year - to build as much awareness of autism as possible. Every year we talk about a different aspect of it, to show how wide the spectrum is. This year we focused on understanding. Because only it can build acceptance, for any diversity.

What autism is has been understood by many companies and institutions. Lodz is the first city in Poland to be open to autism. City Hall employees have received training with specialists from the JiM Foundation. From now on they will know how to adapt their work to the needs of autistic people and their families. The EC1 Science and Technology Center has also introduced facilities for autistic people. Pictograms, maps, muted exhibitions - these are just some of the elements that EC1 has introduced. Polish clothing brand Monnari also got involved in the campaign and informed its customers about Poland in blue throughout April. Both the employees of the EC Science and Technology Center and Monnari stores are also receiving training to learn more about autism.

But that's not all! As every year, hundreds of places across the country joined the action! Sports clubs, schools, kindergartens, stadiums or community organizations. Everyone was talking about autism in April. By shining, organizing marches, lessons, trainings or fairs. Everyone fought together for understanding of autistic people. Thank you!

People from the Foundation were also heavily involved in educational activities. Integration activities were organized, lectures for students and students and teachers. There were also activities for kids, who took part in sports activities, joint painting or dance shows.

It is impossible to forget the involvement of those who reach a wide audience! The media, who not only on April 2 talked about autism. Bloggers and influencers who brought their audiences closer to what life with autism is like and how little it takes to change it for the better! It is impossible to mention everyone who joined the campaign, but we thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts!

On April 2, World Autism Awareness Day, buildings across the country lit up in blue.

We can safely say that this year all of Poland was blue for autism.

7 million people saw what autism is

7 million people have learned that it is important to understand.

Thank you all.
