The goal of the workshop is to identify the factors that cause stress in connection with the child's disorder, to verify and strengthen one's own internal and external resources, to cope better with difficult social situations, to learn to communicate effectively with a partner and child, expressing respect and full understanding of the interlocutor, while taking care of one's own boundaries, to gain confidence in what can be enforced by the official, doctor and therapist of a child on the autism spectrum, and to channel negative emotions and reduce them.
The workshop is designed for parents and caregivers of children on the autism spectrum and ZA.
Effect of the workshop:
- Learning or improving knowledge of how to communicate with a child with mutual respect and respect for needs and boundaries
- Gain knowledge on how to respond when a child conflicts with another adult in the home
- Acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of how to respond when others react inappropriately to a child on the spectrum
- Recognizing one's internal and external resources and skillfully using them to solve difficult situations
- Improve coping skills when dealing with officials, doctors, child's therapists
