JiM Foundation is creating a better world for autistic people. A world where people can realize their potential. The Foundation is one of the largest NGOs in Poland. It conducts many projects, including at the European level. The Foundation runs its own diagnostic and educational facilities. It has a budget of PLN 25 million of its own and employs more than 130 people. It has diversified sources of funding.

Place of work: Łódź

Main tasks:

Cooperate with the teacher in the care and assistance of students in the implementation of his educational and educational work
Assist students during ongoing classes, during breaks, and during other school-related activities
Assist the teacher in the preparation of teaching aids necessary for educational and therapeutic activities
Collaborate with teachers/therapists to maintain consistency in educational and therapeutic interactions
Supporting students in self-care activities (dressing, eating, going to the toilet, washing hands, etc.).
Assist wards during scheduled school trips
Taking care of wards during transportation to and from school
Taking care of the cleaning and disinfection of classrooms

Ability to create positive relationships with mentees, teachers and colleagues
Openness to knowledge acquisition and self-development
Commitment to the work to be done with a focus on achieving set goals
Ability to work in a team and create a cooperative atmosphere
Current Sanitary and Epidemiological Services booklet
Experience working with people on the autism spectrum or with other disabilities is welcome.
Bachelor's degree or in the course of pedagogy/psychology II degree is welcome.
