Quiet hours in stores

Sensory hypersensitivity is one of the burdens faced by people with autism. They have to face their fears every day whenever they use the public space. In response to the needs of the people with the spectrum, the JiM Foundation has requested stores and store chains to temporarily modify the way they function as part of a common initiative.

Quiet hours at Lidl stores

The Lidl Poland chain has introduced quiet hours in all of its stores in Poland in order to cater to the needs of people with autism spectrum disorders as well as their families and caretakers. The initiative was launched in collaboration with the JiM Foundation, and it was primarily intended to make shopping easier to customers with ASD (autism spectrum disorder).
